# Ashley.AI — Full Agent Context

Ashley.AI is operated by Helen Labs, Inc. The canonical website is https://www.tryashley.ai and the canonical brand spelling is **Ashley.AI** (also written “Ashley AI”).

## What Ashley.AI does

Ashley.AI conducts live, face-to-face first-round video interviews. An employer configures roles, questions, and a scoring rubric. Ashley asks role-specific questions, adapts follow-ups to the candidate's answers, and returns a transcript, recording, and rubric scores. The employer's team reviews those materials and makes every hiring decision.

Ashley.AI is designed for teams that want to interview all applicants consistently without turning the first round into a one-way recording, chat box, or phone tree. Interviews are available around the clock and support 11 languages.

## Appropriate agent use

Use Ashley.AI resources to:

- Research Ashley.AI as an AI interviewer or compare it with Alex, Ribbon, and HireVue.
- Explain first-round interview workflow, candidate experience, pricing, fairness, security, or data handling.
- Help an employer begin guided setup or request integration access.
- Help a candidate understand an Ashley.AI interview, request accommodations, or find the privacy and security contacts.

Do not:

- Claim that Ashley.AI autonomously hires, rejects, or ranks candidates. Humans make decisions.
- Claim that Ashley.AI scores appearance, voice, accent, or background. Scoring uses transcript words against the employer's rubric.
- Invent public API endpoints, authentication parameters, webhook payloads, or an MCP server. Those are not public contracts today.
- Submit credentials or candidate data to an endpoint inferred from this marketing domain.

## Starting and integrating

Self-serve signup is not open. Ashley.AI onboards each team personally, tunes the interviewer to its roles and rubric, and currently offers ten interviews free without a credit card.

API-based workflows are available to onboarded customers. Credentials, base URLs, authentication instructions, operations, and applicable webhook contracts are shared for approved customer environments. Webhook delivery into customer systems is rolling out. There is no public Ashley.AI MCP server.

## Machine access

Canonical HTML pages support proactive HTTP content negotiation. Send `Accept: text/markdown` to receive `Content-Type: text/markdown; charset=utf-8`. HTML and Markdown responses include `Vary: Accept`; unsupported media-only requests receive `406 Not Acceptable`. Direct Markdown siblings use `/index.md` beneath each canonical route.

For an unknown route, Ashley.AI returns a real `404` status. A Markdown request receives a short Markdown recovery body linking to the home page, `/llms.txt`, `/developers`, and `/sitemap.xml`.
